In every working place, you are bound to find a group of employees who hate their job but are reluctant to quit.  They could be workers who later found that they are in the wrong job or feel they have nothing much to learn in their current employment.  These group of people are simply stuck or trap in their current career.

Going to work daily is a drag for them. They often like to complain why their salary is low, why their leave entitlement is not good or find faults in many of the company rules and policy to nagged about.

Why don't they just quit and find a better career opportunity elsewhere since they are so unhappy about their current work?

There are quite a lot of reasons why these employees are unable to quit:

- Low Qualifications
Having a low or little paper qualifications means the career options for these employees is quite limited. It make no sense for them to quit as they might end up much worse then they current employment. 

- Scared of Changes
Then, there are those who are afraid of adjusting to the new work environment.  They are afraid that they their can't get along with their new colleagues and many other kind of strange excuses.

- Hate Interviews
Well, attending interviews are no fun.  You got to answer the many questions posed by the job interviewers. Whether you like it or not, some of them can be really nasty questions which you still have to answer.

- No Alternative Income
Money is a real stoppable for many employees especially when they have lots of money commitment to pay.  Their kids overseas education, car or house loan to pay, credit card bills and the list for payment can be very long for many of them.

Therefore, many feel stuck and trapped in a job that they dislike and yet unable to quit.

Now, do some thinking and give some thoughts to the above as it might happened to you.  What happened when you are stuck in those situations and your boss is a jerk who make your career life difficult?

The best options is learn to be pro-active and prepared for it.  Never wait for things to happened.  At some point of time in your career life, it is bound to happened when you hated the job so much and want to called it quit.

Constantly upgrade and obtain the highest possible education for yourself.  Getting a higher paper qualification open up more career options for you.

Alternatively, learn to developed a secondary income during your spare time.  Don't spend it on watching TV programs, movies, pub or playing games.  Plan for a second part time career in your area of interest. Learn to start a home based internet job part time with your computer and internet. Don't just waste your spare time purely on non-money making activities.

Once you are well prepared for a career switch, when the bad situations arrived, you no longer have to be afraid to quit that job that you dislike or hate.
