Every paid employment no matter how well you are doing now will one day hit a stagnant point.  Basically, the majority of those with a full-time career will reached a point either where their salary reached a ceiling or their work hit a ceiling. 

When your salary hit the ceiling, obviously your monthly income can never grow anymore.  When your work hit a ceiling, it means that there are nothing more for you to learned and progress. 

At this point of time, most of you would be either above 40 years old, and many would be married with kids.  That point of time will also create another questions in every paid employees mind. 

What is going to happened to my life and how would my family survived if I ever to be made redundant from my monthly paid employment?

Actually, I am one those who were caught in such an ugly situations.  I really regret that I didn't go into business when I was much younger.  As you should know, when you start a business, there are a learning curve to pay.  That business learning cost money and a few failures can bring back to square one or in debts. 

I ready admire my friends and people who dared to make the decision to go into business when they were in their twenties.  At a younger age, you have less commitment and more time to play with.  Even if you failed in the business, when you are younger, you can easily get another job and save the money to start another business again. Most of those who started young in business later became successful entrepreneur and are enjoying the fruits of their initial labor and don't have to worry about that threatening word called "Job LayOff".

What should we do if we are late to start our own Business?

After studying many ideas, it seems that we have only one choice. That is to moonlight or simply do it part-time. 

Traditional Business Part-Time

- Starting a business part-time or moonlighting is one strategy you can used to your test your business ideas.  Doing it part-time means that you still got a salary from your paid employment.  History have shows that quite a number of people succeeded in their business in this way.  One good example is Geroge Eastman.  He founded Kodak, the film company while still remaining in full-time paid employment while he test out his film business ideas.

Home Based Online Career Part-Time

- We are really lucky to live in a time where we have something called the internet.  The internet have created many job opportunities online which we can make a living from.  It is one of those places where one could create their self-employment with very little risk.  Just check around, how much can a domain name and web hosting cost.  Like your full-time career, it also take time and effort to learn the nuts and bolts of a home based online jobs but it is really worth trying.

Taking into consideration for most people with a full-time paid employment, learning how to start a home based online career part-time is a better choice as the success rate of earning a second full-time income are found to be higher.  Furthermore, the effort required from a traditional business is more demanding and carry a higher risk as compare with an online career on the net. 

Whichever options you made, one thing for sure is that your salary and job scope can never be stagnant when you are self-employed.
