Answers:

  1) Weekdays 2 Adult = 62 + 62
        Child age 8-10 = 37 + 37
       Child age 15-16 = 62 + 62

      62 + 62 + 37 + 37 + 62 + 62 = $322

      Mr Lim paid $322 in total.

  2) Work from the back.

      After selling:
      Pies --- [1u]
      Tarts ---[1u]

      Before selling:
      Pies --- [1u][1u]
      Tarts ---[1u][65]

      3u + 65 = 161
      3u = 96
        u = 32
      Pies at first = 2u = 64.

      James had 64 pies at first.

  3)   1u = Wilson
        1u = Janssen
        1u = Max
        2u = 108 (Wilson and Janssen)
        2u = 71 (Wilson and Max)
        1u = 108 - 71 = 37
        Max 3/5   Janssen 2/5
        3u = 37 x 3 = 111
        2u = 111 / 2 = 55.50
        71 - 55.50 = $15.50

       Wilson have $15.50.

  4) 3 + 4 = 7u
      7u = 280
      1u = 40
      Alan    = 3 x 40 = 120
      Benny = 4 x 40 = 160
      1 + 3 = 4
     280 / 4 = 70
     120 - 70 = 50

      Alan gave 50 marbles to Benny.

  5) 5 apples
      2 oranges
      5 x $2 + 2 x $1 = 12
      $156 / 12 = 13
      13 x 5 = 65

      Seth bought 65 apples.
