The real answer of course is that you should have never gotten out in the first place! Time and time again in the stock market, it has been proven that investing in the stock market is a long-term strategy with continual ups and downs - yet, like a tree that is faithfully pruned and carefully cultivated, your stock investment portfolio will yield ripe fruit in the end. But as a emotional human, it's hard to always invest rationally with the means-to-an-end method and not let emotions take over.

The current economic signs show that large number of consumers are paying down debt and bolstering savings while corporations are strengthening productivity, all thumbs up for stock market investors. Plus, historically, it has been proven that in the third year of a U.S. presidential cycle, the stock market always increases.

According to some economic experts, the stock market will continue to outperform bonds and cash holding although interest rates are likely to increase in this year and beyond. While there are global concerns about food and energy price increases around many countries, out-of-control inflation isn't predicted in the U.S., at least in the near future. For the remainder of this year, the USA, Germany and Brazil are expected to outperform Japan, Spain and China. 

So, go forth and do you necessary research, invest and put your faith in stocks!
