A human real knowledge and wisdom gain and learnt
through life experiences and these stayed in your memory with the passing
years, in actual fact they stay with you forever. You must keep
in mind that when it comes to wisdom and knowledge the quality is more
important than the quantity. It doesn't matter how many books or ebooks
you have read, what matters is what you read and what you have to learnt
from them.
Pursuing and accumulating quality wisdom and knowledge will not only be useful to you in your future endeavors but it will also make you feel good about yourself. When you are performing complex tasks and accomplish difficult goals with the help of your wisdom, you are going to feel good and confident about yourself. The positive mindset would motivate you to go on with your efforts and any person who is self motivated will be able to succeed in life. Now you could be wondering how you should start developing your wisdom and knowledge? Should begin by borrowing or buying more books to read or attending night school? Those ideas might help you but what would really help you is to develop a few traits in your personality that would make learning easier and more enjoyable to you. Develop Curiosity. Remain curious about everything you see, read and hear. By keeping a
curious mindset, you keep yourself open to new knowledge and experiences.
When you are intrigued even by the smallest of things, you would automatically
want to find out and learn more about it. Always be willing to try out
a different topic every week, pick an interesting topic every week and
learn as much as you can about it.
Keep an open-mind so that you do not process knowledge in a biased way.
By keeping your mind open, you keep yourself open to new ideas and beliefs
and it would be only then that you would know more about the different
aspects of each topic. It is good to talk to people who have beliefs and
thoughts that are totally different than yours. Discuss your own thoughts
with them, listen to what they have to say and process the information
objectively.
Do not just read or learn about new things simply because you have to
or because you should be. Be genuinely interested in learning something,
if you are not interested in a topic do not learn about it, learn about
what interests you. If you genuinely love to learn about any subject, then
you would have a stronger mind. Just pick one or two subjects that really
interest you and try to learn about them as much as you can. Read books,
websites, articles and talk to people who have similar interests.
Creativity and knowledge can go hand in hand. Whatever problem that
you are looking for a solution, try to think of as many alternatives as
possible. When your mind are at your creative best, you would also be curious
to learn more.
