Many types of home base business opportunities surround you.  There are scams and legitimate opportunities.  There are opportunities that makes you little money as well as those that makes you lots of money.

What are those scams home base opportunities?

Getting Paid Reading Emails

- Sounds to be a simple and easy way to make money.  It is really is, reading and sending emails are two common tasks that most of us normally do everyday.  The company that send you the ads via email really makes money from those business owners that purchase the ads.

Unfortunately, for every email that you read, you only make cents.  To be more specific, the normal pay rate is 0.05 cents or lower for every emails that you are paid to read.  Some very good and rare companies do pay 0.30 cents for every email you read, but it is so rare.

If you happened to be in this opportunity, try asking to be paid once you hit the minimal withdrawal amounts which is $25.  Many people didn't received their money after spending so many hours on their PC reading all these so-called paid emails.  What a waste of time.

Envelope Stuffing

- It really hard to believe that people still falls into this scam.  This nonsense have been around for such a long time but it seems to have a long life span.  Now, for those are still not aware of this scam, this is a summary of how it work:  First, you saw an ads promising you an opportunity to make money for a home base work stuffing envelopes for companies.  Then, you're advised to send them money to get the information on how to get started.  A few days later, you received their mail which contains useless information on how to con another victims for them.

Today, an envelopes stuffing machine can stuff envelops many times faster than any humans.  Why should any companies pays anyone even 50 cents to stuff an envelope when the machine is so fast?

Pyramid Schemes

- Pyramid schemes is quite common but not easy to detect as some of this companies really covers their tracks well.  However, one very easy method to find out is to check whether do they have any genuine products to sell or not.  Companies without any real and useful products are really an empty shell pyramid schemes.  It is an illegal business and sooner or later, the company is going to run away with all those money that you thought you have earned it.

In conclusion, the best way to avoid all those home base scam business opportunities is to avoid any offers that promise easy wealth without any work.  Secondly, you don't have to pay someone in order to get work. Lastly, remember this famous sentence: "If it is too good to be true, it really is".
