Wow, women likes to shop and it is the dream jobs of many mums and mothers if they could get a shopping job.  Earning a part time income as a mystery shopper sounds great for most stay at home mums but first, get to know and understand what mystery shopper are all about.

Job of a Mystery Shopper

From the job description, more or less you have already an idea what this job is all about. You will be pre-assigned to a shop where you need to go there and do some shopping.  Other than happily shopping for your stuff, your job is to observe, evaluate and then comments about your shopping experience as a customer. Normally, you need to submit a report before your job as a mystery shopper is done. 

Second point to take note is that the job scope of a mystery shopper is not limited to only shops.  At times, you are assigned to places like a movie theaters, departmental store, casino, restaurants or even a hotel.  As long as any types of business that are customer oriented, you are likely to be assigned there as services and customers satisfaction are important to them.

Whatever you spend as a mystery shopper that are necessary to get your job done will be reimburse to you and on top of that, you are also paid a salary for the personal service that you provide, which is your opinion.  As long as you don't mind doing all this work, then you should apply for the part time job as a mystery shopper.  To increase the chances of getting work, you should apply to as many mystery shopping companies as possible.

When you are being called up by the company on your first assignment as a mystery shopper, grab it immediately.  Most companies prefer mystery shoppers that are committed to accept their assignment at short notice.  If you are the job recruiter, how do you feel when you called up people to work and keep getting rejection.  Most likely, they will not be calling you anymore even though the jobs are available.

Finally, remember to act professionally as a mystery shopper as it is still a job and don't forget that you are being paid for it.   Make sure you complete the task and finished those reports and evaluations that you are supposed to do, on time as promised even though you could be enjoying the shopping experience. 

One last thing stay at home mums who are living outside of US and Canada must take note, Jobs as a Mystery Shoppers seems to be available mostly in US and Canada.  For those living outside this two countries, you just have to check whether the jobs as a mystery shopper are available in your country.
