Getting a home base job is much easier today than before, especially with an Internet Job.  There are many different reasons why people decide they want to make money with a home base jobs.  However, be aware of job scams that are out to make money from you. 

- The One Dollar Scheme

You saw a one page internet ads that says that you pay all the five person on the page a dollar and you will get the same page with your name on it.  Next, you are suppose to advertise the page so that the next person who saw your internet ads will pay you and the other four person  a dollar and your name will be push down to the second level and the last person will be push out. Soon, you will be getting all these people paying you a dollar and before you know it, you'll become a millionaire. The truth is, the other four dollar are paid to the scammer who control the one dollar scheme web page and the person who will become a millionaire will not be you.  Eventually, when lots of people are being scam, the web site will be shut down by the internet law enforcer.  However, new one will sprung out and the scam cycle will being again.

- Data Entry Job 

There are many similar scam like the data entry job scam where they advertise on the net or newspaper that they are looking for work at home typist or data entry worker.  These companies usually claim that they have lots of project on hand and they need help to get someone who can work from their own home.  They claim that it is cheaper to employed work at home workers as compare with a full time worker.  In these job scams, they will usually asked you to pay an application fees or buy a special software that are only available from them before you can start your work at home data entry job.   They also assure you that you will make back the money in no time.  Think about it, if a company is in need of workers, do you need to pay in order to get employed.  There are also others alike job scam but the scheme work in the same way.  So, run as fast as you can if any company asked you to pay before you can start work.

- The eBay Schemes

They attract your attention by listing the ipod, playstation or other devices cheaply.  When you read further, you are told to visit another website or email someone to find out how to get that cheap ipod or playstation.  When you reached that site, you are told to purchase a low cost item like an ebook and your name will appear below a list of say thirty person.  In order to get your cheap or free ipod, you are encourage to recruit others to purchase that low cost ebook and your name will be push up a level.  Once your name hit the top position, the ipod will be yours for free. Sure, a few of them will get that free ipod but the pyramid scam will earn the owners lots of money, unknown to these people.

It is impossible to list down all the home based jobs scam for you as they can re-appear in many other ways.  The rule of thumb is to avoid any jobs that requires you to pay first before you can start.  Legitimate home based jobs companies will not asked you to pay instantly to do any work.
