I wanted to create an order based P.A. I created one with Master Ping. Obj : 9ASNPBAS. and storage bucket profile : 9asnp.

I included 4 keyfigures: Forecast , Production(planned) , Dist.receipt(confirmed), Dist.receipt(planned) and Production(total). After saving it is created successfully.

But now to initialise(activate) it , i expect to see the initialize P.A menuitem in the context menu. But what i see is ' Create Time Series..' . I do not see the initialize P.A. menuitem.

As i understand since i am only creating an orderbased one , i shoun't be seeing the 'create time series' menu.

Anyways , on choosing the only available option 'create time series' , it is not sucessful and says that there is not characteristic combination available.

Could anyone please help me out of this. Where am i making a mistake?

Initialize PA will only appear when you select "SNP" in your MPOS!

If you do so then youo can't modify your charachteristics!

In order to maintain charachteristics for your PA, go to Master Data menu--> demand planning.

Or go to your MPOS and right-mouse click and you will see it.
